From March 21 to 22, the Technopol campus in Krems will host the kick-off event of the new annual event series "One Water", at which "burning" topics of our most important resource - water - will be comprehensively presented and discussed by experts from science, business and administration. The first event in the new campus building will focus on the topic of "Water and Health".

Our "Water Quality and Health" research division at KL is contributing several presentations. In the morning, the division will be introduced by head Prof. Andreas Farnleitner. In the afternoon our PhD student Sophia Steinbacher will talk about the possible effects of Danube navigation on water quality and Prof. Alexander Kirschner about Vibrio cholerae in bathing waters in the course of climate change. In addition to contributions from the other universities on the campus, another ICC Water & Health contribution on drinking water (Prof. Regina Sommer) and poster contributions will complete the program.

Participation is free of charge, registration is possible on the website www.one-water.at until March 14. We are looking forward to an exciting event.
